Directions from Blacksburg:
- Take Harding Ave. (from downtown) or Mt. Tabor Rd. (from North Main) to VA-311.
- Turn right onto VA-311.
- The Appalachian Trail parking lot will be on the right, about 2.5 mi from Mt. Tabor (less from Harding) just after The Homeplace restaurant and immediately before a steep downgrade.
- Both trailheads are across VA-311 from the parking lot.
